Andrew McLaughlin trained and practised with some of Scotland's leading private firms before establishing the firm in 2013. Andrew is particularly interested in divorce and family law, adults with incapacity matters and also debt recovery and commercial disputes. Andrew also enjoys taking on difficult or unusual cases and has appeared before many different courts and tribunals. Andrew is also retained by numerous successful businesses to advise on debt recovery matters.
Andrew is a graduate of Edinburgh Law School, L.L.B (Hons) Dip L.P. and is a Notary Public.
In 2017, Andrew was appointed by the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland as a Legal Member of the First-tier Tribunal For Scotland. In 2020, Andrew was further appointed to the Social Security Chamber and in 2022 was then also appointed to the Local Taxation Chamber.
